POLITICO: Inhofe: FCC approved Ligado plans without ‘cluing the president in’

Senate Armed Services Chairman Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) said today that President Donald Trump was left out of the loop on the controversial FCC approval of satellite company Ligado Networks’ 5G plans.

“A few powerful people made a hasty decision over the weekend in the middle of the national crisis and against the judgment of every other agency involved and without cluing the president in on any of this,” Inhofe said at the outset of today’s hearing on Ligado.
